Roland is a concert pianist and composer whose work has been performed at Carnegie Hall and the Palais Garnier. Between compositions, he restores antique clocks, collects first-edition jazz recordings, and argues, passionately, that the Manhattan is an underrated cocktail.

Vivienne is a fashion historian and museum curator whose exhibitions have toured from the Met to the V&A. She writes in longhand, drinks her coffee black, and has an unsettling ability to identify a fabric's decade purely by touch. She wears her grandmother's ring every day.
